We are well-versed in crafting music that perfectly complements any project. My Approach to Composition
Firstly, it’s important to completely understand the overall vision for the music. Once I have an understanding of your project, needs and objectives, we consider elements like style, key, tempo, and instrument choices. After gathering as much information as possible, I create a draft piece of music, making sure to hit the most important key moments and transitions.

Second, throughout the process I keep you updated of the progress, providing rough drafts, so you can be involved in the creative process as much as possible. Through collaboration we reach a consensus on the composition and finalise the music. Once the final draft is approved, I add the finishing touches by mixing the tracks in our professional studio. You are then provided with the required deliverable.

Instruments
I use a number of real and software-based instruments. I have at my disposal high quality synthesisers, keyboards, stringed instruments, and percussion instruments. I use the finest top-tier software-based instruments, such as Spitfire Orchestra and East West Composer products. I also regularly process software-based instruments through our analogue professional studio gear, shaping and sculpting the sound to an impeccable standard. Composing in a professional studio with cutting edge tools and equipment means that the instruments sound great, and any software-based instruments have depth and realism.  

      

Timeframes
The time it takes depends on each project and no two are ever alike. However, it can be as involved as you need it to be, depending on your time and budget. At the end of the day, its about providing you with something that adds to your project, not something that distracts or takes away from it. 

 

Billing/Prices
Please contact us for an individualised quote that will be specific to your project. The scope and detail of your project will tend to determine the overall cost of the production and a reduction in the price can be negotiated if the project will be recurring or longer in duration. 

Free Services
More often than not, I am happy to negotiate a fair and reasonable price to try and fit within your budget and on occasion I may offer my services for free. But this offer is generally when I have a strong personal interest or connection to the project. I am also happy to negotiate any sales percentages or royalties to be paid at a later time for any upfront free work. (However, this does not apply to mixing singles or artist mix releases)
